Over the course of the last 15 years or so, Ashley Pichea has learned a lot about the art of online content creation. From her earliest days as a journal-blogger to the many years she spent working with brands, she has spent a lot of time figuring out how to eke a living out of online publishing.
As the Content Manager & Strategist for Red Oak Local – a boutique online publishing company – Ashley manages several travel niche websites, each making four to five figures a month. While revenue is not the driving factor in her team’s efforts, it’s a helpful tool to increase the volume of content they can create toward their goal of helping people explore their backyards and fall more in love with where they live. Ashley uses the art of keyword research and SEO-optimization tools to identify “low-hanging fruit” in order to create relevant content around the best search terms that will help her readers be more informed and prepared for their adventures.
Her session, “Using SEO Tools to Work Smarter, Not Harder”, will teach content creators who want to take their website to the next level how to strategically use keyword research and SEO-optimization tools with engaging content to increase pageviews through higher SERP scores. The tools and tips Ashley will be sharing are able to be applied across any genre, and she has personally used them for her own website as well as for clients across a variety of niches, with measurable success in all cases.
As part of her session, Ashley is offering the opportunity for attendees to “win” an SEO analysis and keyword list, using their website/topic as a demonstration during the session. All session attendees will leave with an SEO-checklist for optimizing new and current content.
